Taught by Oriol Solé Costa, a retired high school Spanish teacher, this small-group course is designed to help you communicate with greater fluency and cultural understanding. The sessions will focuses on:

Faculty: Oriol Solé Costa
Oriol Solé Costa is an Argentine-born bilingual educator with a rich multicultural background. He first learned English in the U.S. as a child and became a naturalized American citizen in 1984.
Oriol served as a certified Spanish-English court interpreter in California and Washington before earning a Master’s in Teaching with a Spanish Endorsement from Oregon.
He taught Spanish to native speakers at Hood River Valley High School for 18 years and brings a wealth of real-world experience, including Spanish language instruction aboard the USCG icebreaker Polar Sea during scientific expeditions to Antarctica.
Since retiring in 2016, he continues to share his love for teaching as a ski instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows.
